Dr. Chris Wright
Associate Prof Chris Wright is currently The Institute of International Studies Program Coordinator and works (via internet) as an Associated Researcher with the Burgundy School of Business (Dijon, France). He was the Professor of Accounting and Convenor of the Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) at the Holmes Institute (Australia). Chris has a multi-disciplinary PhD from Simon Fraser University (Canada). In earlier postings, Prof Wright was an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Adelaide Business School, was the Professor of Accounting and Head of the School of Business (Melbourne Institute of Technology), the Professor of Accounting at Lincoln University (NZ) and an Associate Professor of Accounting at Lakehead University (Ont. Canada). His industry qualifications and honours include: FCPA (Australia), CMA (Canada; now CPA) and FRSA (UK and Australia/NZ). His research interests are in: accounting theory, micro & small business, micro-finance, teaching, finance, and fisheries.
