Dr. Jack JIA
Dr. Jack Jia, a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at The Institute of International Studies, received his PhD in Accounting from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy. Previously, he held prior visiting research appointments with the University of Adelaide and Western Sydney University in Australia. Jack has taught postgraduate and undergraduate management accounting and financial accounting subjects at public universities and private Higher Education Providers in Australia and Italy. He was a reviewer of the Achievement Matters Project that calibrated Australian accounting learning standards. His professional experiences include intercompany accountant and consultant for internal controls. Also, Jack is an academic member of The Association of International Accountants (UK), a member of Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Alliance (USA) and the General Secretariat of The Christian Finance Observatory (France). His research interest spans: corporate insider trading, IFRSs, Christian Finance, and sustainability accounting.
